The phone comes with a 120 Hz refresh rate 6.7-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1440×3120 pixels (QHD). Google Pixel 7 Pro is powered by an octa-core Google Tensor G2 processor. It comes with 12GB of RAM. The Google Pixel 7 Pro supports wireless charging, as well as proprietary fast charging.
Naturally, our eyes are drawn to the Pro more than the vanilla. One of the two key differences this year, looking at the spec sheet, is the new telephoto camera, which trades in the larger sensor size for a longer zoom reach.
The other new bit is the chipset. The tailor made Tensor G2 comes with some new CPU cores and a new GPU, as well as who knows exactly how many under the hood improvements, but is still manufactured on a 5nm process, when competitors are at 4nm.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Google Pixel 7 Pro on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary camera; a 48-megapixel camera, and a 12-megapixel camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring a 10.8-megapixel sensor. Google Pixel 7 Pro is based on Android 13 and packs 256GB of inbuilt storage.
Connectivity options on the Google Pixel 7 Pro include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, GPS, and USB Type-C with active 5G. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor.
